Lactation Support
Anna provides home visits in the Columbia Gorge Region both in Oregon and Washington. There are many reasons you may want a lactation appointment. From worries about milk supply, to pain, to going back to work it’s never to late too ask for help. In many cases, however, getting help earlier may make you more likely to reach your feeding goals. Call for a free short conversation about your questions and concerns.
With Anna you will receive evidence-based care to meet your specific needs. She has been trained extensively in lactation specific care in a wide variety of areas.
Prenatal Consult
A visit during you pregnancy. We will discuss any questions or concerns you may have as well as review your medical and breastfeeding history. Develop a plan for feeding you baby when they are born as well as resources for if things don’t go as planned.
Time: Up to 60 min
Cost: $125
Phone Visits
Telephone conversation when feeding is going well and physical assessments are not necessary. For example making a plan for back to work, introducing a bottle, introducing solids etc.
Time: 30min
Cost: $45
Postpartum Consult
This will be a home visit after you have given birth. This may occur shortly after birth or whenever needed postpartum. During this visit we will address any concerns you may have about feeding your baby. It will also include a full assessment of the baby, observation of feeding, weighing baby before and after, as well as, an assessment of the baby’s suck and swallow ability. We will develop a care plan together and referrals will be sent as needed. Visit will include phone/email for one week after consult.
