About Anna

Hello.

I’m Anna, a lactation consultant in the Columbia River Gorge. I live with my husband and two kids in White Salmon, Wa.

I am an avid baker, gardener, and enjoy a good adventure with my family. I found my way to lactation support through my own personal struggles with breastfeeding and the relief I felt when I got the support I needed. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.* I graduated from Portland State University Lactation Education and Practicum Program in 2019.

In the Gorge I have co-led the local non-profit, Columbia Gorge Postpartum Support. I currently work at the Klickitat County Health Department as a lactation consultant for the WIC and MSS program, as well as starting and co-leading the Columbia Gorge Perinatal Mental Health Initiative.

As a mother myself, I understand the needs and value of providing gentle, supportive, and compassionate care to pregnant and postpartum families.

My focus is to meet families where they are at by making individualized care plans to meet specific needs. My philosophy is to empower your family with evidence-based practices and to provide an environment where you feel safe to ask questions and get the care that you need.
